The eMonitor records data about the current flow in each circuit every second, and sends it to the secure web-based dashboard every minute.

Real-time electricity monitoring lets you see your home in action, watch spikes as they happen, and do the detective work to track down hidden energy hogs.

Alerts make the job easier. Set the eMonitor to send you an email or text when the usage on a circuit approaches overload, when appliance usage does not fit normal patterns, such as refrigeration. Receive an alert when your estimated bill goes above a threshold you choose. Advanced analytics behind the alert system give you recommendations for saving, and can even suggest when your dryer lint tray needs cleaning! If you have smart thermostats, you can set them remotely from a laptop or mobile device.

The eMonitor measures and verifies power usage in green buildings, too. Have solar PV panels feeding into your electrical system? The eMonitor "r" will track the renewable contributions to your home, and the savings achieved. It will even track solar PV panel health by analyzing the eMonitor database of localities and the current solar radiation available.
