The inPower provides an affordable and accurate way to measure electricity use or renewable energy production. This device communicates with the PowerWise inGate to send electricity data to the cloud. Easily integrate sensors, meters, and controls with the inPower for a comprehensive view of a building and mechanical systems.

Up to three current transformers (CTs) wire into one inPower. To monitor additional circuits, use multiple inPower devices.

Specifications

The inPower is a kilowatt hour (kWh) energy and power meter with ANSI C12.1 and ANSI C12.20 class 0.5 accuracy. It communicates over EIA RS-485 networks using the Modbus RTU protocol. One model can measure all 1, 2, or 3 phases, in delta or wye services, from 120 to 600 VAC. Using external current transformers, it can measure 5 to 6,000 amps. The inPower is instrument-powered from 6-24 VDC or from an isolated 12-24 VAC source. The device is packaged in a compact, DIN-rail mount enclosure. Revenue-grade electricity meter options are available.
