New Wireless Sensor, Wireless Bridge, Solar Monitoring

Sensors,
Meters, and Apps

Three new products from PowerWise

inSense Wireless

First up is our wireless temperature and humidity sensor. This device communicates via Zigbee with the inGate for the inView application. The inSense eliminates hassle from wiring sensors and makes the whole monitoring system more flexible.

The second product is our new commercial solar monitoring technology. This solution is geared towards large photovoltaic (PV) installations and can monitor solar production, panel temperatures, and solar irradiance. It is compatible with most common inverters and helps PV owners troubleshoot problems, maximize production from their system, and protect their valuable investment.

Third, we now carry the 12-channel electricity meter from Dent Instruments. The 12-channel meter enables PowerWise to install systems that require monitoring more circuits, and the meter displays data in the inView application.

Reduce wiring for pulse flow meters and SiteSage

SiteSage wireless temperature sensor

Normally, pulse flow meters wire into the SiteSage gateway or the SiteSage sPod. Now, pulse meters can wire into the WiTemp+, a wireless temperature sensor, making it easier to integrate flow meters into one system that also monitors temperature and electricity. The water-use data transmits wirelessly from the WiTemp+ to the SiteSage gateway. To build on the new addition, SiteSage now offers more flexibility in scaling water use data for pulse flow meters.

Coming soon from PowerWise

PowerWise will soon launch a wireless bridge and a redesigned version of the inView application. Modbus devices, such as electricity meters and air quality sensors can wire to the new inBridge, which will send the modbus data to the inGate via Zigbee. Our redesigned inView application provides a flexible platform for monitoring and controlling buildings.

IoT Innovations

IoT, the internet of things, is one of the most exciting ongoing developments in technology. With IoT, just about any device can be connected to the internet. As more devices connect, more information will be available to make data-driven decisions, steamline building performance, and enhance efficiency. The beneficial effects are magnified with machine learning data analysis. PowerWise is looking forward to developing technology in the IoT space that will simplify monitor and control systems, provide sophisticated analytics, and help facilities managers tackle big data with business driven solutions.
